Alpine Challenge 2019

Over the last weekend of January, nine Houghton family and friends joined Snow Camp for its 10th AJ Bell Alpine Challenge in the Porte Soleil in the French Alpes.
The two teams – Willpower and Snow Power – skied over 150 km over two days chasing checkpoints across the resorts.
We managed a very credible 10th and 12th in the competition despite one fractured ankle; one team member being knocked out; a small fall from a chair lift; a twisted knee and a lost ski from a chair lift.
We are hoping for a quieter challenge next year, which is scheduled to be in Italy.
The teams raised over £1000 for Snow Camp. Thank you so much for all your support.
